This high-output active humbucker is designed with a low end that keeps power chords sounding big and powerful. It has a strong pick attack and a pronounced midrange response that allows the pickup to track fast playing very accurately without sounding thin. The 6 String version of the Jeff Loomis pickups are all active pickups with a passive mount.
